the view from the top of the hill woudl ve been amazing, if only it weren’t such a long walk to the center. and of course, the breakfast woudl have been perfect, if they had better options like gluten-free. i almost thought about giving them a good review, but that just wasn’t possible.

good experience , but some room for improvement

Wendy and Phil offered an exceptional welcome, making our stay feel more like visiting friends than staying at a B&B. The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring freshly baked goods that were delightful to wake up to each morning. The charming garden area provided a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring, enhanced by a nice pool view that added tranquility to our experience.

The steep driveway was a bit challenging, especially when it rained.

I loved the beautifully furnished room and the amazing breakfast full of fresh goodies and made-to-order omelettes. The sun terrace was a great spot to relax with a book, and the garden area added to the peaceful vibe. Just a heads up, the driveway is a bit steep, but it’s manageable, so don’t let that stop you from enjoying a wonderful stay! 🌞

The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature and just a short drive to the waterfront. Breakfasts were fantastic, with homemade goodies and a great chat with the hosts. Perfect stay to explore the Bay of Islands! !

We enjoyed our stay at a lovely double room with an espresso maker. The dolphin cruise was a highlight, especially stopping at Otehei Bay – a perfect day out with the family. Breakfast was delightful with beautiful homemade treats, thanks to our wonderful hosts.

My kids wished for more entertainment options on-site.
